April 1 to May 2, 2013:
Stancell's paintings, Canyon Rhythms II and Canyon Rhythms XVII are included in the group show, Reaching New Heights at the UConn Stamford Art Gallery, One University Place, Stamford, CT.

2012 Events

Stancell exhibited her painting, Fruit and Flower Medley, at the Sylvia Wald/Po Kim Gallery, 417 Lafayette Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY from September 1 to September 30, 2012 in the 123rd Annual Exhibition of the National Association of Women Artists.

Artwork was selected for the Spring 2012 edition of Studio Visit Magazine, published by Open Studios Press, Boston, MA. The magazine was distributed to about 2,000 curators and gallerists throughout the country in Mid-June 2012.

Stancell's Canyon Rhythms XV painting was included in the Spectrum 2012 exhibition, May 23 to June 17, 2012, at the Betty Barker Gallery, 681 South Avenue, New Canaan, CT.

Three of Stancell's Canyon Rhythms paintings were chosed by General Electric and Picture-That, LLC for The Bold and Beautiful, Confident Expressions, General Electric's 6th Annual Women's History Month Art Exhibition, from March 5 to April 27, 2012 at the GE Cultural Fine Art Gallery, GE Headquarters, Fairfield, CT and GE Cultural Online Gallery, http://www.picture-that.com/gegallery/women/
